Weston-Super-Mare-based, Regency Insurance Brokers, has revealed plans to recruit more staff and increase new business in 2003.

Weston-Super-Mare-based Regency Insurance Brokers has revealed plans to recruit more staff and increase new business in 2003.

In a statement the company said it plans to recruit a further 30 staff and expand into the personal lines sector.

Managing director Jerry Wakefield said: "My team of managers and staff have worked extremely hard during the last year to develop the company and we are now looking at taking on further personnel and have a number of initiatives in 2003.

"The future of the business looks very promising and we are heading for exciting times."

Following last year's sale of the Regency Group to South Staffordshire Group, Regency Insurance Brokers has been retained by owner Kerry Michael. Michael said he now wants to consolidate the company's commercial lines activities.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
