Broker Chartside Ventures has acquired Essex-based Ladies Direct Insurance and Vans Direct Insurance.
Ladies Direct and Vans Direct both have more than five years experience in the insurance industry as well as a presence on the internet.
Chartside director Nigel Dyer said: "We always believed there was a real need for specialists like Ladies Direct to offer help and assistance for lady drivers over and above the pure motor insurance element."
