The Broker Network has made its seventh acquisition of 2004, purchasing Mid-Pennine Insurance Services.

The purchase price is expected to be between £250,000 and £310,000. But the final price will depend on Mid-Pennine's performance over the next 24 months.

Last year, Mid-Pennine reported revenues of £206,000.

Richard Guthrie will continue to manage Mid-Pennine's office, based in Todmorden, Lancashire. All staff will be retained along with the Mid-Pennine name.

Broker Network chief executive Grant Ellis said: “We are pleased that our plans for acquisitive growth are progressing so positively."
