Lloyd's broker Alexander, Brooks & Stevens reported a huge rise in profits - despite a small fall in revenues - in the year ended 31 March 2003.
Turnover was down 4% to £2.6m from £2.7m the year before.
Pre-tax profit was up 213% to £525,000 from £167,000.
It paid an interim dividend totalling £75,000 compared to £43,000 paid the year before.
