Brokers showed their "green" credentials this week when marketing group Rarrigini & Rosso sponsored tree planting in support of the Woodland Trust charity.

R&R had pledged to fund one tree for each new policy placed by participating brokers through Fleet UK. At the ceremony at King's Cliffe Millennium Wood, near Wansford, Northamptonshire, the first trees were planted – all native British species, typical of the local environment.

R&R managing director Julie Rodilosso said: "The Millennium Wood project has given us a way of giving something back to the community and making a positive difference to the environment."

The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity.
