The Budget Group of Companies is expected to spend £10m on its biggest ever set of marketing campaigns.
The drive is intended to increase its market share of the car, motorcycle and household insurance sectors.
It has employed the marketing agency Scope, whose clients include HSBC, First Direct and Whitbread, for the project.
Budget's marketing director Matthew Gledhill said: "We'll be working closely with Scope to position Budget as a major player in the personal lines insurance sector and strengthen our relationship with our 700,000 customers."
