Personal lines intermediary, Budget Group, has increased its presence in London by acquiring its 26th branch within the M25 area.
Budget has acquired the Lionel Smith Insurance Brokers in White Chapel as part of a national acquisition programme totalling 86 branches so far.
1800 policies have been transferred to Budget brand, which was recently re-launched. The Lionel Smith team will continue to handle these policies.
Retail network sales and operations director Matthew Donaldson said: "It is great that we have been given the opportunity to raise our profile within the London area and we are delighted to be able to offer our services to even more customers on the high street
