Bupa Health Assurance's critical illness products have been awarded 5-star ratings by independent product research company, Defaqto.
Bupa said the top ratings were achieved by its decreasing term and stand-alone critical illness plans.
An A4 star rating was also awarded to Bupa's level term accelerated plan.
