BUPA has developed a health insurance product designed for expatriates living in Spain and one other European country of their choice.
BUPA International and Spanish company Sanitas, part of the BUPA group, developed the product, called Sanitas Health Plan Complete.
BUPA said previous policies from its International branch had only offered global cover which was normally in excess of the client's requirements. It is the first BUPA product to give cover for only two countries.
Policy documentation will be in English, and clients will have access to a helpline operated by English speakers while in Spain.
Sanitas Health Plan Complete will only be available for individuals, not corporate clients, and can be purchased through BUPA International and Sanitas.
