Broker Bray Wintour Patis (BWP) is to open a new office in Exeter, as part of its expansion into the Westcountry.
The new operation will specialise in professional indemnity insurance for small business, much of which will be managed via an integrated electronic facility.
BWP managing director John Meredith said: "The opening of BWP's Exeter office is an important milestone within our overall strategic plan.
"We are seeking to establish a large presence in the south west and hope in time to be able to take full advantage of the tremendous opportunities within the region."
