Lloyd’s insurer promotes Coryn to head of corporate development
Lloyd’s insurer Canopius has hired former Aon executive Grant Elliot as head of business development.
Existing head of business development and communications Sally Coryn has been promoted to head of corporate development.
Elliot was previously strategic business director and head of the London-based Asia desk at Aon.
Canopius chief executive Inga Beale said: “Canopius has a clear strategy for profitable growth and a mandate to ensure we have the right talent in place to continue to achieve our ambitions.
“The addition of Grant to our team means we are even better placed to grow the business in the UK and overseas.
“These appointments come at an exciting time for the group and following our strongest ever financial results. Both will help to capitalise on our success and build momentum further.”
