Manchester-based broker Carole Nash celebrated its 30th birthday by donating £30,000 to a number of local charities.

Among the charities are the North West Air Ambulance Charity, the Counselling and Family Centre, Forever Manchester, Brake and the Christie hospital.

Carole Nash chief executive David Newman said: “Our donating £30,000 to these five worthy charities is our way of thanking our community for their support over the years.”

The Christie, a specialist cancer hospital based in Didsbury, has received a donation of £10,500 from the broker, and corporate fundraising officer for the hospital Mary McLaughlin said: “We were delighted to receive this generous donation. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to celebrate their 30th birthday.”
