The National Catastrophic Injury Unit at law firm Beachcroft Wansbroughs is to hold a second conference on care in the case of catastrophic injury claims.
The conference will take place in London on 9-10 October.
Sara May, head of the National Catastrophic Injury Unit at the firm said: "Insurers are acutely aware that the cost of care in serious and catastrophic injury claims is by far the most expensive aspect."
She added: "There is a real need for strategic thinking to balance the reasonable requirements of claimants as against insurers who fund those needs."
