Lancashire broker, Catterall Insurance Services, has undergone a management-buy-out (MBO).
The multi-million pound deal, which was funded by Bank of Scotland, will see Craig Fisher become managing director.
Brabners Chaffe Street, which advised on the MBO, said: "The Bank of Scotland was pleased to support Catteralls, which is an established broker with a broad customer base."
