Lloyd's broker CBC UK has announced that it has secured membership of the Association of European Suppliers of Insurance Services (AESIS).
CBC has joined the Independent European network of insurance brokers to utilise the network's range of dedicated insurance services for multinational clients.
The company also hopes that AESIS will offer a new alternative to clients following the consolidation in the broking sector in recent years.
CBC director Colin Brown has been appointed to the AESIS executive committee. He said: "We now have 14 members and we're looking to expand. With four more members coming on board and future expansion into North America we hope to increase our presence.
"This move gives us better representation in several countries."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
