Centrus has confirmed that it has withdrawn from the ULR market. The shock decision has left many brokers with no legal expenses cover.
Maps Legal Assistance managing director James Tattersall said: "Centrus, formally 3 Arrows, has been a very big player in the URL market and although it has been known for some weeks that Avis was planning to sell the company, its almost immediate withdrawal of service may leave many brokers without any legal expenses cover for their clients."
While brokers choose another provider, Maps is offering immediate and easy to arrange cover. Tattersall added: "Brokers who want some breathing space to carefully choose a legal expenses product can obtain instant cover for their clients - with no obligation. It is an opportunity to try our service but with the freedom to move to another provider at any time."
