A new software system will help fleets meet the Health and Safety Executive's new "driving at Work" guidelines, claims cfc solutions.

The Corporate Liability Module (CLM) was designed to enable fleet managers to develop strong fleet health and safety practices. cfc said the software worked by allowing a structured policy to be thoroughly defined.

It then captures relevant information and checks whether this meets the agreed parameters.

The software was in development for the past year and was designed to work with cfc's FleetPlus high-level fleet management software.

cfc said the CLM allowed fleet mangers to almost completely avoid the need for daily management once the policy rules had been set up. Instead, the CLM would issue regular management reports detailing exceptions to the agreed policy.
