Information technology services firm CGI Group has announced the US$5.4m (£3.4m) acquisition of INSpire Insurance Solutions Inc.
Under the deal around 265 professionals from five offices in the U.S. are joining CGI.
INSpire provides claims and policy administration outsourcing services as well as software and consulting services for property and casualty insurance
carriers.
Michael Roach, president and chief operating officer for CGI said: "The closing of this acquisition marks another very important milestone in CGI's growth commitment to the insurance vertical and to expanding our BPO capability."
