Choices, Norwich Union's (NU) web-based broker incentive scheme, has been revamped based on broker feedback.

Ken Wallace, intermediary business director at NU, said the insurer has introduced new ways to earn points and the range of awards has also been widened.

He said a new "team spirit" option has been added to enable points sharing and the Choices homepage has been revamped, with the addition of more information to help brokers make the most of the scheme.

Wallace said that until 31 July, brokers can earn points by requesting a quote for NU's Minifleet package.

He added that for the first time, points can be claimed on acceptable quotations, with bonuses for converting new business.

Wallace said: "As well as valuable rewards, there are sound business benefits for brokers.

"For brokers transacting online, the website includes fast links to product information and benefits, helping staff in broker offices to make informed decisions on behalf of their customers."

He said the site could also help brokers "generate new business in difficult market conditions, by suggesting opportunities for trade-ups and cross selling".

The scheme, delivered via NU's e-broking website, is open to all intermediaries selling NU policies.
