A charity Christmas Day dip in the North Sea has been cancelled due to insurance costs, it has been reported.
Up to 200 people have taken part in the dip in Suffolk every year for the past 24 years.
However, insurance costs have rocketed from £250 last year to more than £1,000 this year, a significant chunk of the £8,000 usually raised for charity.
Organisers blamed the compensation culture for the rise.
