The number of insurance and financial services practitioners who obtained Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications in the April exams is up on last year.
Pass rates for the various exams were as follows: Associateship (57%), Certificate of Insurance Practice (60%) and Advanced Financial Planning (42%).
Also, 485 people completed the Insurance Foundation Certificate while 1235 completed the Financial Planning Certificate.
CII qualifications director Lucy Courtenay commented: "Qualifications are vitally important as they provide an objective, measurable way to raise and maintain standards and underpin competence. Those who have completed qualifications should be rightly proud of their achievement.
"The introduction of the CII's internet total education facility, ed, provides candidates with an even wider choice of study options and revision aids to enhance exam preparation and the chance of passing first time."
