Claims retrieval firm Claims Direct this week unveiled a new funding facility for solicitors seeking to take on personal injury claims.
The new initiative – Accident Assist – will provide solicitors with up to £1,500 of funding for each personal injury case processed. The loans are unsecured and charged for at a rate of 2.75% above base. Solicitors can have access to loans of £600, £900, £1,200 and £1,500.
The company is also developing a website that will allow all parties involved in any claim to log on and check its progress.
Claims Direct hopes the site will cut down claims settlement time from 12 months to nine.
