The Clear Group has boosted its commercial business with the purchase of Bloomsbury Insurance Management (BIM).

BIM is the fourth acquisition for the Central London broker which controls a premium income of £14m.

Clear Insurance Management managing director Howard Lickens said: “We have ambitious growth targets but will not sacrifice continued profitability for growth. We believe there is a huge market for the professional broker with quality staff who know their market and add value to their clients.”

Clear Insurance Management forms part of the Clear Group which now employs over 40 people and enjoys an annual turnover of £3.5m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
