The provisional liquidators of Drake Insurance Company have outsourced the claims and technical operations to Claims Management Group Limited (CMLG). The move has been in effect since June 2003.
CMGL said the award of this portfolio reflected the company's expertise in the area of claims and insurance management service provision in insolvency cases.
The company said it will continue to work closely with the provisional liquidators and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme on the run-off of Drake Insurance.
