CMGL has signed a deal to use Whitespace Software's Lloyd's Managing Agents' Names' Accounting system (Almanac).

It said the deal was designed to ensure high levels of service for the Lloyd's run-off market.

CMGL managing director Jerry McArthur said the increase in the size of the run-off market, as well as its growing complexity, had necessitated the change to the Almanac system.

The company said by consolidating its Lloyd's run-off accounting system it could increase efficiency and reduce costs. The company currently uses run-off systems inherited from its Lloyd's clients.
