City-based Compass Underwriting has launched an all-risk motorsport insurance scheme - for amateur enthusiasts.
The policy is written for thousands of drivers, their support teams and spectators across Europe.
Compass Underwriting managing director, Andrew Briant, said: "As a Lloyd's consortium manager, Compass Underwriting can harness the strength of the Lloyd's insurance market for the benefit of specialist groups, such as amateur racing drivers."
Compass Motorsport scheme covers competitors for everything from personal effects through to accidental death.
Spectators and racing team members are similarly covered.
