Earnings also up 15% at Lloyd's broker

Lloyd's broker Cooper Gay has reported a 22% increase in income to £83m (£68.1m) and an earnings increase of 15% to £18m (2007: 15.6m) for the financial year ending 31 December 2008.

Cooper Gay group chief executive Toby Esser said: "Cooper Gay has had a particularly good year in 2008. We have demonstrated our ability to carry forward our growth strategy and to integrate new businesses.

"It is particularly gratifying to find that our new colleagues have settled quickly into Cooper Gay. We go into 2009 confident in our ability to build on this experience, integrate the new businesses and continue with our strategic growth plans.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
