Broker Cooper Gay announced today it has opened offices in Belarus and Russia.

The company said the opening of the offices in Minsk and Moscow was part of their strategy to expand into Eastern Europe.

Michael Brett and Helena Hendin have been appointed to provide an interface between London and the Eastern European companies, the company said.

Toby Esser, Cooper Gay's chief executive, said: “We believe that Eastern Europe is a crucial market for us and we now have an excellent base for our activities in the region.”
