Cooper Gay swoops for reinsurance broker

Cooper Gay has announced the acquisition of the majority shareholding in Reinsurance.com.ar LLC, the Florida-based specialist reinsurance broker.

Established in 2006 by Guillermo Pastore, and with offices in Miami and Buenos Aries, Reinsurance.com focuses on treaty and facultative reinsurance solutions, primarily for the Argentine market.

Pastore has over 20 years’ experience in the Latin American reinsurance sector and was formerly COO of EW Blanch and Benfield Greig in Argentina. Pastore will continue as chief executiver and will drive expansion in support of Cooper Gay’s strategy for the region.
