One of the latest is Essex-based Emrose

Countrywide has gained six new members in the last two months bringing total membership to over 700.

One of the latest new members is Essex-based broker Emrose, a specialist in Taxi Insurance. Lawrence Rose, director, said: “As a leading taxi insurer in the South-East we are always keen to expand our business in new areas. By working with Countrywide’s insurer partners we have access to the tools we need to achieve growth in both commercial and personal lines.

“In addition to increased commission and guaranteed service standards we also have access to training and marketing support - enabling us to secure more business by using our database to prospect and cross-sell. I would strongly recommend Countrywide to other brokers, particularly as membership costs a flat fee of just £800, rather than a percentage of overall GWP. The introduction of Partner Broker and Clubs initiatives means yet more benefits for members.”

John Dawson, head of Countrywide, said: “Since expanding the overall Countrywide proposition to include Partner Broker and Clubs initiatives we have made membership more appealing to the wide range of brokers that use the Open GI platform. Our efforts are focused on making sure our members’ and our insurers’ profits are on the up. With Open GI securing new customers every month I see no reason why we cannot continue to add more members at these levels throughout the rest of the year.”
