Fortis has extended its contract with Countrywide by three years.
The broker network has recently added Countrywide Avenues and House Guard Extra to its household product range.
Chris Dobson, Fortis' distribution and development director, said: “The Countrywide network continues to represent a highly profitable distribution channel for Fortis. Many of its established and successful members are getting larger through acquisition, providing us with a great opportunity to significantly increase our market share.
“We have been a Countrywide strategic partner for over 10 years. They have the strength in numbers and proven track record of delivery and profit that we require, in line with or better than our expectations.”
Mark Ryder, Open GI's commercial director, said: “Fortis continues to be our largest private motor account and in recent years we have worked together to achieve strong growth in household and commercial non-motor.
“They are a highly professional and forward-looking business and are keen to strengthen their product portfolio, evidenced by their move into Commercial Vehicle Full Cycle EDI this year. Our brokers frequently comment on the level of service they provide and we are pleased to be able to commit to a long term future together.”
