Cox Insurance has recruited a team from Heath Lambert to expand its broking division.
Paul Firkins will become business development executive, Janey Ware will become relationship manager, and Jasper Garnham joins as executive consultant.
The team had specific responsibility for the development of the company's general insurance business within the mortgage lending market, said Cox.
At Heath Lambert, the team had responsibility for the growth of the company's financial institution division.
Cox broking division managing director Mike Hutton said: "We are delighted to welcome these experienced individuals as part of our team and look forward to growing Cox's insurance business within the mortgage lending sector."
Cox's broking division currently had gross written premiums of £134m.
The recruitment of these three key individuals would help to grow this figure significantly in the future, said the company.
