Highway Insurance has awarded Countrywide Property Inspections (CPI) full delegated authority to settle claims for damage to third party property resulting from motor accidents.

The decision followed a successful pilot of Highway's third party liability motor protection scheme, said the insurer.

Highway deputy claims manager Mick Lawless said: “The pilot was a great success. By awarding CPI full delegated authority Highway will be able to reduce costs by settling our third party property claims faster and more efficiently.”

CPI operated a network of independent qualified surveyors across the UK and provided a range of products and services specifically designed to assist insurers in the reduction of property damage claims leakage, said Highway.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
