Instead of billions, just £18m of cover provided to 72 firms

Only 72 companies have used a total of £18m of the Government’s trade credit insurance top up cover since the scheme was launched in May, the Mail reports.

Ministers claimed the scheme would offer billions of pounds of cover.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
