Cameron Richard and Smith (Holdings) Limited (CRS) has acquired Well Marine Reinsurance Brokers Limited with immediate effect.
The company said it has welcomed Well Marine staff and has appointed Michael Hardingham and Simon Boyd-Wallis to its board.
Gordon Scutt will continue to work for the company in a consulting capacity.
CRS said the acquisition will enable it to "broaden its base, and reinforce its expertise, thus continuing to thrive in an ever changing and demanding market".
