Daimlerchrysler's insurance arm Debis Insurance Services has begun to offer motor policies on the internet.
Debis motor policies will automatically include personal accident and medical cover for drivers and passengers, and free accident recovery and legal assistance.
The new website, mercedes-benz.co.uk, also provides a quotation system for determining driver premiums.
Debris Insurance Services managing director Martin Fehrmann said ecommerce was an important factor for improving its relationships with customers.
“Owners of world-class cars also expect world-class financial services,” said Fehrmann.
