Loss adjuster Cunningham Lindsey has launched an initiative to provide web-based, real-time claim information to policyholders.
The CustomerLink initiative - which Cunningham Lindsey claims is the first application of its type - will enable policyholders to track the status of their claim.
Phil McNeilage operations director at Cunningham Lindsey UK said: "Policyholders want clear, easy to understand information that keeps them up to date with the status of their claim.
"Keeping them informed and involved is crucial to increased customer satisfaction and ultimately, retention. CustomerLink will provide this real-time interaction in a straightforward way, strengthening the link between everyone involved in the claim process and delivering value to all."
