City law firm Davies Arnold Cooper (DAC) is to hold an official opening for its Mexican office next week.
It said it was looking to expand into the Central and South American insurance market after becoming the first UK solicitors to open a Mexican office.
The company said the Mexican insurance market had grown by 42% between 2000 and 2002, with increasing amounts of business being reinsured in the London and European markets.
To coincide with the official opening, DAC is holding a seminar, ‘Mexico Matters’ on 29 April in London. The seminar will consider the Mexican insurance markets and the difference between it and the UK and international markets.
