Legal expenses insurer DAS general manager Charles Wright has left the company to pursue other business opportunities, the company has announced.
DAS has also made major changes in its senior management team. A new strategic tier has been created by the promotion of David Kearns to assistant general manager and solicitor alongside Tony Buss (AGM Insurance) and finance director Pat Veysey.
Also promoted to the senior management team of ten are three newcomers: Adrienne O'Sullivan, business manager for Ireland; Bob Moreton, group financial accountant; and Victoria Scott, advice and assistance manager.
Managing director Paul Asplin said: "I am delighted to have such high calibre of senior managers, all of whom understand so well the challenges facing the insurance market and our own specialist areas of operation within it.
"DAS has built its reputation on the expertise and experience of its people. With continued high rates of growth and opportunities to progressively diversify, it has been a logical step to manage that change with enhanced responsibilities for our top managers."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
