Davies Lavery Solicitors has expanded its insurance and construction divisions with the establishment of a Chelmsford office.
The expansion sees Andrew Hunn and Anthony Sheppard join from Merricks Chelmsford, along with their former insurance litigation, defendant personal injury and construction teams, from 13 April.
Andrew Hunn will become managing partner for Davies Lavery Chelmsford, managing 14 lawyers and a team of 25.
The expansion will see the firm increase in size to 180 people working across four offices.
Senior partner Trevor Davies said that with projected revenues of £13m, Davies Lavery is now "knocking on the door of the top 100 law firms".
