The FA Premiership has appointed Davies Lavery Solicitors to assist in its negotiations advising on effective policy wording to obtain centrally-purchased personal accident and sickness cover for all Premiership clubs.
Davies Lavery senior partner Trevor Davies said the contract win resulted initially from the firm's role as advisers to Charlton Athletic FC.
“This transaction highlights the recent achievements of our life and health division. We are working with a number of global insurers and reinsurers in this market including acting for the world leader in income protection,” said Davies.
“We are looking forward to continuing to work with the Premiership and its member clubs to offer further advice and solutions particularly in the management of personal accident and general insurance cover.”
