IFA support network DBS Financial Management is linking up with MediQuote to provide a comparative individual and group private medical insurance (PMI) quotation service to DBS's 3,000 members.
MediQuote, the UK's only comparative PMI portal, is part of global insurance solutions provider Sirius Financial Solutions.
The tie-up will see DBS's members gain direct, 24-hour access, through the Assureweb Trading Platform, to approximately 100 products from 13 UK providers.
MediQuote allows individual and group company-paid schemes to gain access to illustrations and cash plans. Proposal forms and other policy information can also be produced directly from the MediQuote site.
DBS products and marketing manager Jackie Ison said: "We have negotiated an excellent service package for members with MediQuote and we are looking forward to linking up with them on this initiative."
Sirius managing director of insurance distribution Mike Dodd said: "It's a clear endorsement for the value of MediQuote that the UK's largest IFA network has chosen to recommend it to its members.
"We feel confident that it will help members to secure a growing share of the lucrative PMI market."
DBS Financial Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of listed software supplier Misys, represents over 1,700 member firms and over 3,000 IFAs throughout the UK.
