Claims leakage could be plugged by a new service from the Lewis Group, one of the UK's biggest debt collectors.
Lewis Claims Services will target the collection of low level third party liability claims often written off by the big insurers.
Lewis Claims Services sales manager John Clayton said: "We provide a comprehensive information gathering service with the additional collection opportunity."
He said the new division planned to work with brokers, insurers, legal firms and accident managers.
