Professional risks wholesale broker Dickson Manchester will be merged into Rattner Mackenzie.
Both brokers are owned by Houston Casualty (HCC Insurance Holdings). Rattner Mackenzie is Britain's 35th largest broker according to the 2003 Insurance Times top 50 brokers. In 2001, Rattner Mackenzie disclosed a brokerage of £16, 812m.
As part of the move Dickson Manchester staff will will be utilised by HCC Diversified Products, the company's PI underwriting agency.
