Lloyd's broker Dickson Manchester (DM) has announced the launch of a new motor fleet unit, providing access to fleet facilities for key broker partners.
DM is looking to provide assistance to a small number of key brokers who are looking to develop their existing book with a view to building long-term partnerships.
The company points out that capacity in the Lloyd's market has reduced significantly in recent years.
The motor fleet managers provided by DM offer access to the entire Lloyd's market and cover a full range of fleet business from the small private or commercial fleet through to those of multinationals.
Charles Manchester, managing director of DM, said: “The motor fleet market has shown a dramatic hardening in recent times. We're looking to help our key supporters in these difficult market conditions by building on the relationships that already exist.
“We are not looking to be the motor fleet solution to the mass market and will therefore be highly selective in our choice of partners.”
