EasyJet has renewed its contract with Mondial Assistance to provide online travel insurance to its customers, with the announcement of a new three-year deal.

In addition, standalone insurance options will be available in all 21 of the countries served by the airline. A number of product enhancements have also been introduced since the new contract came into force.

Andy Hibbert, head of ancillary revenue at easyJet, said, “We are delighted to continue working with Mondial Assistance to offer easyJet customers insurance which gives them the best level of cover for their trip at a low cost.”

Steve Hook, director of corporate and travel at Mondial UK, added, “The easyJet contract is of great importance to our business and we are very excited to continue working with them.”
