EasyJet has appointed Mondial Assistance to on-line travel insurance to its customers.

The new partnership will enable travellers to book easyJet-branded travel insurance via easyJet's web site as they book flights.

Easyjet plans to make its site low-cost and simple in order to establish its travel insurance alongside high street brands.

Head of e-commerce at easyJet Alastair Gilchrist said: "This contract will enable easyJet customers to book their flight and buy well-priced, good cover insurance at the same time.

"We chose Mondial Assistance because of its reputation, on-line expertise to meet our requirements across Europe and its competitive pricing."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
