Equitas said it has reached settlements worth $200m with four of its major policyholders.
The company said the agreements settle all asbestos and liability claims against underwriters at Lloyd's, which are reinsured by Equitas.
It said the settlement with policyholder Dana Corporation resolves one of the three largest remaining liabilities facing the company.
