Equity to partner fleet manufacturer in affinity deal
Equity Insurance Group announced the signing of a major affinity partnership with Man Financial Services, a division of truck and coach manufacturer, Man ERF UK.
Bespoke and commercial vehicle insurance policies will be offered to fleet buyers and hauliers through regional specialists supporting Man's UK network of main and affiliated dealerships.
The three-year deal will net a potential 6,500 new policyholders for Equity and represents a further expansion for the group as it seeks to consolidate a growing presence in the UK commercial insurance market.
David Crick, Equity's head of commercial operations said: "The development of high profile affinity partnerships is a strategic priority for the group. We look forward to a successful, long-term relationship and the launch of a system that reflects the needs of Man's customers and dealer network."
MaN Financial Services chief executive, Elliot Lennick added: ""Equity has a team with impressive insurance expertise in the commercial vehicle sector. It has developed a strong insurance proposition we believe has many benefits for our customers."
