Lloyd's insurer Euclidian Group has made four new appointments to the board of Euclidian Underwriting.

Following approval from Lloyd's and the FSA, the appointment brings the total number of board members to 12.

Ian Holmes, who joined from Equitas in 1999 and was previously claims manager, now becomes a member of the EUL board as claims director. He is joined on the board by marine reinsurance specialist Lee Anderson, who joined in 1998 and has managed marine underwriting since December 2001.

Experienced Lloyd's professional indemnity and liability underwriter Don Carey has rejoined the EUL board as a non-executive director.

Another newly appointed board member is Dan Glaser, vice president, Foreign General Insurance, American International Group, which is a capital provider to the syndicate for 2003 through a wholly owned subsidiary.
